Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Developed by Sledgehammer Games (co-developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3), harnesses the first three-year, all next-gen development cycle in franchise history.

  Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare

Envisions the powerful battlegrounds of the future, where both technology and tactic have evolved to usher in a new era of combat for the franchise. Delivering a stunning performance, Academy Award winning actor Kevin Spacey stars as Jonathan Irons – one of the most powerful men in the world – shaping this chilling vision of the future of war.

Power Changes Everything.

An Advanced World:

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare takes place in a plausible future in which technological progress and today’s military practices have converged with powerful consequences. In this carefully researched and crafted vision of the future, Private Military Corporations (PMCs) have become the dominant armed forces for countless nations outsourcing their military needs, redrawing borders and rewriting the rules of war. And Jonathan Irons, the founder and president of the world’s largest PMC – Atlas Corporation – is at the center of it all.

An Advanced Soldier:

Powerful exoskeletons evolve every aspect of a soldier’s battle readiness, enabling combatants to deploy with an advanced lethality and eliminating the need for specialization. The introduction of this gameplay mechanic delivers enhanced player movement and verticality through boost jumps and grappling, covert cloaking abilities, and biomechanics that provide unparalleled strength, awareness, endurance, and speed. With the advent of the exoskeleton and newly advanced armor and weaponry, every soldier commands tactical freedom in any terrain unlike ever before, fundamentally changing the way gamers play Call of Duty across all modes.

 An Advanced Arsenal:

Harnessing the power of next-gen platforms, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare brings players into the battlegrounds of the future by boasting a new hi-tech, advanced arsenal and ability set, arming players with all-new equipment, technology, perks, and vehicles like hoverbikes and highly specialized drones. Players can also choose between standard ammunition and an all-new class of directed-energy weaponry that enables totally new gameplay dynamics. And with exoskeletons delivering a massive force multiplier and unprecedented tactical freedom, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare evolves every firefight.

everything from jumping to climbing is very seamless and Sledgehammer did a great job building the game around the exo suit – .. First off all, let me just say that this review is aimed at multiplayer as that is the only part of the game I have touched so far. This year’s CoD feels very polished, everything from jumping to climbing is very seamless and Sledgehammer did a great job building the game around the exo suit – when jumping near the edge of a building for example you no longer have to press “A” to climb, it will catch it automatically and climb for you, and it works very well. There’s a whole slew of customization options as well and the combinations seem endless. The maps are of course built to accommodate the exo suit, and can be a confusing mess of a mosh pit at times, this is the only area of the game that needs improvement in my opinion. You’re going to get shot in the back, often.Perks are about the same as they’ve always been. Load outs now utilize a “pick 13″ system similar to the Black Ops “pick 10″ system.Knifing in…

Sledgehammer has come out swinging The year long wait and the uncertainty of whether or not this game will be good or bad is now over and in the players hands. The biggest question is , is it good , and to that question I can answer with a resounding YES ( in my opinion ). I have played ALL and I do mean all the Call of Duty games , even the one released for the psp and I believe this is one of the better gamesThe story is set in the not to distant future , but far enough that you see futuristic things all around you. The cars , buildings , weapons , etc. etc. etc… Almost everything has a futuristic look about it , some subtle some obviously futuristic . The story in this game was advertised as more of you playing through an interactive movie than playing any of the previous titles. To an extent they accomplished their task. The game does play alot more like a movie than any previous title. The cut scenes help with this in a dramatic way. In past games the cut scenes and the actual game play looked quite…

such a relief! Let me start off by saying Ghosts was a let down. Sorry for those who enjoyed it, but it wasn’t good. This on the other hand has brought back my faith in Call of Duty. Like some the Exo suit concerned me as i thought it would make it a little to similar to Titanfall (which i thought was a little too over done). but the Exo suit brings a nice balance to the game it was done spot on. If you were worried about the suit be assured its a great addition.I have only logged a few hours into the online play, and so far the campaign is really interesting. The online play is pretty smooth I was expecting lots of lag due to everyone playing at the same time, but I had no issues. The only downside is the download time it lets you play the campaign while it finishes, but wont let you until it has completed. My suggestion would be to start the download while at work or before you go to bed that way its ready for you the following day/time you get off. it…
